Black Dog
Whilst surfing the internet I stumbled upon Atlantic FM which is a radio station in Cornwall. I took a quick look at their website and was intrigued by the sentence in bold type at the bottom of their homepage which bears the legend "If you would like information about this weeks Dog of the Week click here".
A Dog of the Week competition, how dare people say that Cornwall is backward.

Recent article in the press here - the earliest Cornish Pasty recipe was found in Plymouth a good few decades before the cornish one... does this mean the Cornish Pasty is actually from Devon???????
No.
Devon was supposed to have it 300 years before Cornwall, however what they didn't pass on was that Cornwall kept it a secret for 400 years. I think we win by 100 years.

Good Maths skills there Marshy - showing that the D you got at GCSE's was not a fluke.
C actually Mr Burr, the D was for French, zut alores, mon ami, tournet et droit - reminds me of a certain trip to truro!
Ah. I got a C in maths too, but only a F in French. I knew it was going badly when during my oral test my French teacher started to laugh at what I was saying, not because I was being witty, just by French was awful. I resorted to just repeating the same phrase over and over again. Je ne said pas, Je ne sais pas.
I thought you had Bill Ryan for French - he would have gone easy on a rugby playing lad like you!
No I had Mrs Payton-Jones. Also during my oral exam it had to be another teacher and I can't remember her name but she thought it was hilarious. Luckily I haven't let my lack of French hold me back.
